Confirm the path first
This page covers the main path from account creation to your first successful connection. You do not need to understand routing protocols, forwarding methods, or the system network stack in advance. Before you begin, make sure the current device can access the 14VPN user panel normally, and prepare a username and password you can remember long term. Registration requires only a username and password, with no email address, so there are limited options for verifying ownership if the password is lost. Store it in a trusted password manager.
The user panel handles your account, orders, subscription, and client access throughout the process. Marketing pages do not provide static installers or publish real subscription addresses. This helps prevent temporary links from being pasted in the wrong place and lets you retrieve the configuration from the same panel after your plan status changes. If you leave this page, simply sign in to the user panel again and continue from the account overview.
Follow the order on this page rather than installing several clients and trying them at random. First make sure your account and plan are ready, then get the subscription, and only afterward install and import it into a client. This makes it easier to identify whether an issue is related to the order, subscription, or device configuration instead of troubleshooting several variables at once.
Create your 14VPN account
Select “Start Free” below to open the user panel. You will be asked to set a username and password; no email address is required. The username is used for future sign-ins, while the password protects your plan, subscription, and order information. After submitting the form, you should enter the user panel. If the form remains open, check whether the username is already taken and whether both password entries match.
After entering the panel, first confirm that the username shown at the top or in the account section is the one you just created. The account is ready to use, but before you choose a plan, the subscription section may not show an importable configuration. This is normal. Do not paste a so-called shared subscription from another source or use a sample address as a real configuration. Go directly to the plans section next.
If your browser offers to save your sign-in details, accept only after confirming that you control the current device. Avoid keeping the session on a public device, and sign out of the user panel when finished. If account creation or sign-in results in a page loop, an unresponsive submission, or password recognition issues, visit the account and subscription section of the FAQ. Browser cache and session troubleshooting are outside the scope of this page.
Choose a plan and place your order
After signing in, open the plans section and choose a monthly subscription based on your actual monthly data usage, or a data package that remains valid until used and never expires. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9 per month for 60GB, ¥18 per month for 250GB, and ¥28 per month for 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. Data packages include ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB, making them suitable for irregular usage or for users who do not want monthly resets.
Choose based on how often you use the service, not just the one-time price. For browsing, research, and occasional AI Tools access, you can start with a smaller monthly allowance. For frequent Streaming, large file transfers, or long-term connections across multiple devices, choose a higher allowance based on actual usage. Every tier supports unlimited devices, but traffic from all devices counts toward the same account, so unlimited devices does not mean unlimited data.
Once you have chosen a plan, open the order confirmation page and check the plan name, data allowance, and amount. Then select an available payment method—Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. After payment, return to the user panel and do not create the same order again. When the order status updates, the account overview will show the current service status and data allowance. If payment is complete but the page has not updated, refresh the account overview and then check the orders section instead of paying repeatedly.
When upgrading a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. For your first upgrade, there is no need to calculate the conversion in advance; simply check the final details shown on the confirmation page. The service offers 7-day no-questions-asked refunds; see the Terms of Service for the applicable rules. Full details on plan differences, data resets, and refunds are available on the plans page.
Get your subscription link from the user panel
Once your plan is active, open the account overview. Check that the plan name, remaining data, and service status match your selection, then find the subscription or client import section. The user panel provides the appropriate option based on your device and available clients. Common options include copying the subscription link or selecting an import button for a specific client. Prefer the direct import option provided by the panel; copy the link manually only when the client does not open automatically.
The subscription link lets the client retrieve the route list and future updates. It is not a normal webpage address and should not be shared. The real link appears only in the signed-in user panel. The https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN in this guide is only a format example; both the domain and token are clearly fake, cannot be used to connect, and do not represent a real 14VPN subscription address.
Use the copy button in the panel to avoid missing characters through manual selection. After copying, switch directly to the client and import it; do not paste the link into a public chat, search box, or online text tool first. If you accidentally delete the client configuration, you do not need to purchase another plan—return to the account overview, copy the link again, and import it. If the subscription update fails, first confirm that the plan is still active, then check that the saved subscription address in the client is complete.
The account overview is also the main entry point for ongoing management. When changing devices, reinstalling a client, or refreshing routes, retrieve the current subscription here. Do not rely on old screenshots or previously saved route names, as the route list may change with network scheduling. For in-depth troubleshooting of failed subscription updates, empty configurations, or links the client cannot recognize, see the troubleshooting manual.
Import into a client on each platform
Open the client download section in the user panel and choose the option for your current operating system. Clients and subscriptions are delivered through the user panel; this page does not provide static installer links. After installation, do not rush to add individual routes manually. Import the subscription first so the client can retrieve available routes and the update entry in one step. The sections below explain where to look during the first import on each system.
DESKTOP
Windows
Choose the Windows client option in the user panel, install it, and open the compatible desktop client. On first launch, look for subscription management, configuration management, or import-from-link options. Select Add Subscription, paste the link copied from the account overview into the address field, enter a recognizable name for the configuration, and save and update it.
After a successful update, the main interface should show a list of routes by region. If it remains empty, return to subscription management and run the update manually, then check that the link is complete from beginning to end. If the client requests system network permission, confirm it through the operating system’s standard authorization dialog. Once imported, leave advanced routing options unchanged and use the recommended mode for the connection step.
DESKTOP
macOS
Open the macOS option in the user panel and get the compatible client for your desktop system. After installation and first launch, open the configuration, subscription, or remote configuration page from the menu bar or main client window. Choose Add from Link, paste the subscription link from the account overview, save it, and run an update once.
The system may ask you to allow a new VPN configuration or network extension. This system-level authorization is required for the client to establish a connection. After confirming, return to the client and check whether the route list has been generated. If the app window closes and you cannot see the main interface, look for the client’s status icon in the system menu bar instead of launching multiple instances.
MOBILE
Android
Choose the Android option in the user panel and follow its instructions to get a client that supports subscription import. In the client, open the configuration or subscription page and choose to import from the clipboard, a link, or a remote address. Paste the subscription, save it, and allow the client to update the route list. Seeing multiple region names indicates that the subscription was recognized correctly.
The first connection will show a system VPN authorization prompt. Confirm it so the client can handle network requests on the current device. Some systems restrict background activity; if the connection often drops after the screen locks, allow the client to keep running as needed in the system’s battery-management settings. Adjust only the system runtime permission here; avoid changing the client’s advanced routing rules at the beginning.
MOBILE
iOS
Open the iOS client section from the user panel and install the app through the provided entry. In a client that supports subscription import, find the subscription, remote configuration, or Add from URL option, then paste and save the link copied from the account overview. Some clients can be launched directly from the user panel; if the handoff works normally, prefer it to reduce copying errors.
When you connect for the first time, the system will ask to add a VPN configuration. Confirm it, return to the client, and wait for the status to change to Connected. If the subscription is saved but no routes appear, open the subscription list and run an update. If direct import does not respond, switch to copying the link manually; there is no need to purchase another plan or create another account.
The standard for a successful first import is the same on every system: the client shows the subscription name, can update the route list, and lets you choose a specific region. If you see only one manually added configuration and no subscription update option, you are probably on the single-route setup screen. Go back and look for subscription management or remote configuration. For major menu differences, see the connection and troubleshooting section of the FAQ.
Connect to a route and verify that it works
After importing the subscription, choose a route whose region matches the destination service. For ordinary web access, start with a geographically closer region. For content intended for a specific region, choose the corresponding country or area. 14VPN covers 110+ countries and 210+ routes. You do not need to test every route at first—choose one with a clear purpose and an easy-to-identify name.
Click the client’s connection switch and wait for the status to show Connected. Then open a webpage that normally works to confirm that basic connectivity remains available, followed by the international website or app you need to use. If both the basic page and target service open, the main connection flow is complete. If the client says Connected but no webpages load, disconnect and try another route before changing system DNS, routing mode, and advanced client settings at the same time.
You can also open this site’s IP Check page to see whether your current exit information changes with the selected route. During verification, focus on the difference in exit region before and after connecting and on the actual access result; there is no need to seek a particular fixed address. Reload the check page after switching routes so the browser does not retain the previous result.
Streaming and AI Tools often retain the sign-in region, cache, or an existing session. If the page does not change after switching routes, fully close and reopen the target app; in a browser, try visiting it again in a new tab. Do not mistake an app’s cached region for a failed connection. For peak-time slowdowns, frequent disconnections, DNS issues, or apps that do not go through the client, follow the symptoms to the troubleshooting manual, which provides a systematic diagnostic process.
Using it afterward and maintaining the configuration
After the first successful verification, daily use only requires opening the client, updating the subscription, choosing a route, and connecting. When changing devices, repeat the “Get your subscription” and “Import into a client” sections; there is no need to create another account. The service supports unlimited devices, but all devices share the data allowance in the account, so disconnect devices you do not use for long periods to prevent background apps from consuming data.
When the route list changes, rely on the result of the client’s most recent subscription update. If a route is temporarily unsuitable for your current network, update the subscription first, then switch to a route in the same or a nearby region. Do not delete the entire account configuration and repeatedly reinstall; most connection issues can be resolved by updating the subscription, granting authorization again, or switching routes.
This page has now covered the lightweight setup path. To understand the differences between IEPL dedicated routes, relay routes, and direct connections, see the routes page. For connection, speed, background disconnection, or subscription-update issues, read the troubleshooting manual. Short questions about accounts, billing, and refunds are collected in the FAQ. Keeping advanced topics separate helps prevent unnecessary technical details from interrupting your first setup.
